Facilities Under design:
- Meditation hall
- Media center
- Visitor center
- Trustee’s office
The most important structure among all the facilities at Kanha would be the meditation hall. The proposed design is in the form of the Infiniti Symbol which is indicative of the infinite journey of spirituality. It would also include 7 satellite units of different sizes.
Enormous amount of time is being spent on the design and value engineering of this structure. Several architects, structural engineers, usability experts and stakeholders from the Kanha team are involved in shaping up various features and design elements of this gigantic facility. The meditation hall features an overall capacity of 80,000 people. It would also include other ancillary facilities (like footwear storage spaces, drinking water, toilets, special access to senior citizens/physically challenged, covered footpaths etc.).
Understanding the impact of the social media activities and the usage of audiovisuals in the current era, a state of the art fully integrated multi media facility is being designed. Having multiple sound proof studio-houses, photo & graphic editing place, lounges for guests & artists, meeting rooms, stores and cafeteria this facility would act as a centre for all the audio and video activities such as movies, documentaries, web casts and the like.
The Visitors’ centre is a multi-purpose facility. The seekers would be welcomed here and provided with the information and orientation. Heartfulness meditation experience centers will be part of this structure. It would also include a bookstore, merchandize shop, cafeteria, lounges with audio-visuals and an indoor/outdoor children center.
An amphitheatre has been planned in the NorthWest corner of the memorial land overseeing the monument at one end and a pond at the other. It is proposed to have a seating capacity of over 1000 people in a natural open air setting to facilitate meetings, cultural events, audio-video based events etc.
